Metadata: 2007-2010 Marine Aggregate Levy Sustainability Fund (MALSF), Regional Environmental Characterization (REC) Study, South Coast Region
Abstract:
The South Coast Regional Environmental Characterisation study is a multidisciplinery project involving the biology, geology and archaeology of an area of the English Channel 5800km2. Funded by the MALSF. A 2m scientific beam trawl with a 5mm mesh liner was used to sample epibenthic fauna. Benthic samples were collected for faunal and granulometric analysis using a 0.1m2 Hamon Grab.

Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2007-2010 Marine Aggregate Levy Sustainability Fund (MALSF), Regional Environmental Characterization (REC) Study, South Coast Region |
Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | The South Coast Regional Environmental Characterisation., South Coast REC, MALSF |
File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 24faf42f37e9659e808b6113cbeb2ac5 |
Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | DASSHDT00000006 |
Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2007-08-28 |
End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2007-09-11 |
Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
