Richard Hamond summarizes records of the distribution of various species of amphipoda along the shores and offshore of Norfolk, East England. The data on the occurrence of Pectenogammarus planicrurus was obtained from surveys carried out by G.I. Crawford in 1948, 1949 and 1952 at Sheringham Beach in Norfolk. No individuals of P. planicrurus were found in 1952. This survey was collated by MarLIN as part of a data collation contract for species on the provisional list of nationally important marine features (Lieberknecht et al. 2004).

Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 5239 |
Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 1949-1952 Norfolk amphiphod survey |
File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | d3d877e8bb51bc99eb2f35c82da5bab6 |
Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | MRMLN001000000C4 |
Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 1948-01-01 |
End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 1952-12-31 |
Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | continual |
