MESH
The MESH Project is a group of 12 partners from 5 European countries who have drawn together scientific and technical habitat mapping expertise to produce a framework for Mapping European Seabed Habitats. The work covers most aspects of seabed habitat mapping from planning surveys, fieldwork standards, data handling, predictive modelling, producing maps in management. The comprehensive website includes an interactive webGIS for maps and data. |
Integrated Coastal Hydrography
Integrated Coastal Hydrography is a practical partnership between the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO), the Environment Agency, Ordnance Survey and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). It aims to produce both an on-line database of hydrographic metadata and a shared methodology for the definitive measurement of hydrographic data in the sensitive shallow coastal waters around the UK coast.
