Sea
surface temperature anomalies calculated by subtracting the
1985-1997 mean monthly SST from the individual monthly SST.
The raw data were obtained on an equal angle projection; means
were calculated from the night time data exclusively and compared
with the nigh time monthly images. Scale bar in °C.
