Many organisations and projects provide access to their data and information online. To help navigate through these web sites they are listed by theme under 'finding data'. Data can be real-time, near real-time or historic. Most web sites include data for UK mainland waters but relevant international web sites are also included. Some of the sites require simple registration before data can be accessed.
