Notification of Proposed Research Cruises >
A non-UK research vessel can only enter the UK Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) once a ‘Notification of Proposed Research Cruise’ (NPRC) form has been submitted by the cruise operator to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The summary information for these foreign research cruises is available to view here with links to the original submitted NPRCs. Various information is contained within these forms including purpose of the survey, geographical location and contact details. Cruise Summary Reports and Cruise Reports may also be available. This information can be used to promote the exchange of data and sharing of resources between UK and international research organisations.
