MEDIN tide metadata tool

A map-based tool to discover tide and sea level data for the UK.

Tide and sea level data described in this catalogue have been collected and quality controlled to different standards. The highest quality-controlled data come from the National Tide and Sea Level Facility (NTSLF). These are used to track long term sea level changes, vertical land movements and changes in ocean volume.

Users should refer to the data providers for exact geographical information.

Use the selection tool select to select the sites of interest and the information you request will be shown in a table below the map.

There is a scroll bar at the bottom of the table to view the right-hand side of the table.

Click on the symbol globalto return the map to its full extent.

Once selected with the selection tool, site symbols turn yellow.
